This medallion is a textile work entirely handcrafted in my workshop, according to a meticulous know-how where each gesture is part of the long time.
6th Pain: The Body of Jesus pierced with a spear and descended from the Cross
This unique piece, at the crossroads of sacred art and needlework, embodies a silent and deep presence. It is worn as an intimate talisman, delicately attached to a garment, or finds its place in a space of contemplation—suspended, offered, or transmitted.
DETAILS:
Entirely embroidered by hand, without industrial process
Image printed on a 100% cotton canvas, then sublimated by embroidery on woven wool
Embroidery threads: pure cotton
Dimensions (excluding buckle): 6 x 5 cm (2.36" x 1.96")
Finish of your choice: braided nylon yarns, polyester tape, or without fasteners
Each medallion is a unique piece. Natural materials, chosen for their nobility, evolve over time, revealing a patina specific to each creation.
By nature, this object requires special attention. Contact with water should be avoided, as dyed wool is sensitive to liquids. It is thus recommended to preserve the medallion from humidity (shower, sea, swimming pool).
Similarly, perfumes, creams or perspiration can, over time, alter the vibrancy of hues and the finesse of the image.
